Day 12: first day on Rottnest Island

I stood up at 6 AM and the taxi came at around 6:25 AM so I had a short time to prepare myself to go. We went with the taxi to Midland station where we took the train to Perth City. From there, we walked to the Rottnest express where we were like a half an hour too early and that's why we decided to take a coffee first. I tried a flat white and I did like it. After that, we took a picture at the boat and then we left to Fremantle where we picked up some people, then left to our final destination namely Rottnest Island.
When we arrived, we first went to our rooms and then we left some stuff in our room. Next, we walked a bit around and we were waiting for our luggage to arrive at our rooms. So we waited for three hours, when the luggage arrived we were very happy. We immediately did go to the beach to go tanning. After laying for hours in the sun, we decided at 4 PM to go back to our room.
Next, we did a walk on the Island to look what's on the island. There are lots of quokkas on the island which are very cute. At around 7 PM we had dinner and I ate prawns. I had to take the shells off them and it took a long time. In the end we also had a chocolate brulee for dessert. It was a cozy evening.
Later, Lisanne and I went for a walk on the island and we did make a vlog.
