Day 7: The giants and Perth City

In the morning we had pancakes for breakfast. We went at 9:15 AM to the parking lot of the mall. From there we walked to the bus stop. We took the bus and the train to get to Perth City. When we got there, we walked a lot till we got to the giant puppet. There we looked at it while it was moving and after that we drank some iced coffee while we were looking at the Swan River.
Next, we wanted to go with the ferry to the other side of the river but we were not the only ones who were thinking about that idea. It was so busy that we didn't go. We did go back to the town centre and we met the son of Peter and Jennifer and the girlfriend of him. They were really nice. We were talking at a spot of the town centre and then two people came to us to ask if we wanted to answer some questions about the arts festival. The man was filming us while the girl asked us some questions. After a few minutes, a girl and boy came to us and gave a flyer to us and then asked if they could take a picture with us.
Later, we decided to have a lunch and Lisanne and I did get our lunch at the Subway. We went to a nice park where there was live music and sat there to eat our lunch.
After that, Lisanne and I went shopping together at the town centre. It was really big and nice. Unfortunately, we only had one hour to shop so we decided to go back another time.
When we were walking back to the station, we saw the diver lying on the ground. It was one of the giants and the girl was the niece of this boy. We expected far more puppets but it were only two of them. Peter told us there would be like 1 million people coming to watch the show.
Next, when we arrived at Ellenbrook, We went to Woolworthes where I bought some tissues because I got a cold and we bought some soda. Then we went home, Lisanne and I decided to lay in the backyard in the sun. After about an hour we got back inside because it was too cold. We lay on our bed and after an hour or so, we had dinner. It was fish and chips, Peter had bought it somewhere in the neighbourhood. We drank some ginger beer which tasted good and had a nice dessert.
After that, we just lay in our bed for a couple more hours and had a walk in the neighbourhood.
When we stepped in the house, I noticed there was something on the ground so I turned on the light to see what it was and it turned out to be a earwig. I asked Peter to put it outside and then a scorpion also came walking in the same room so he killed them both and in the end we were safe.
